Hand luggage

Passengers are given an item of free hand luggage and a small free personal item.

The free hand bag cannot exceed 23 kilograms in weight or 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm (22 x 17.7 x 9.8 inches) in dimensions.

The small free personal item cannot exceed 23 kilograms in weight or 40 cm x 15 cm x 30 cm (15.7 x 5.9 x 11.8 inches) in dimensions.

Checked Baggage

Passengers without checked baggage allowance will depend on the kind of cabin that the passenger is flying. The following table details the free checked baggage allowance of each cabin class:

Tourist Class: 1 or 2 pieces of free luggage with a maximum weight of 23-32 kg, depending on the route.

PREMIUM ECONOMY: 2 pieces of free luggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg per bag on all flights.

Business Class: 2 pieces of free luggage with a maximum weight of 32 kg per bag on all flights.

First Class: 3 items of free luggage with a maximum weight of 32 kg per bag on all flights.

Check-in

Online Check-in

Passengers can check in online for their flight on the British Airways check-in / check-in online on the page. Online billing opens 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure time.

Airport check-in 

Passengers who cannot check-in online or are unable to check-in online may check-in at the airport. This can be done by visiting one of the airport check-in desks with the relevant travel documents. The closing hours of the airport check-in differ according to the airport of departure.

Economy class 

The British Airways Economy class is different depending on whether the flights are shorter hitch or the long way.

Euro Traveler:

For the Euro Traveler is the Economy Class for flights within Europe and the United Kingdom. It offers a comfortable cabin with leather seats, adjustable headrests, complimentary newspapers and mood lighting.

The Euro Traveler is split into three different rate structures:

Basic - this includes an assigned seat and carry-on luggage. With this rate, you can add a bag examined to see a fee or choose a seat.

Plus Flex - Plus Flex is a convenient rate provides flexibility in ticket changes and allows passengers to choose where a seat up to one hour before the flight.

World traveler

The World Traveler is the Tourist Class for long road flights. On board a large body plane, it offers a comfortable and spacious cabin with leather reclining seats, complimentary meals and drinks, a personal entertainment system at all rates.

The World Traveler is split into two rates:

Basic - includes hand luggage and a pre-assigned seat, perfect for light trips with the no frills.

The standard - includes checked luggage, seat selection and allows passengers to stay before the Basic fare.

Seating 

The seats on British Airways flights are arranged in 3 x 3 x 3 configuration on long-haul flights and 3 x 3 configuration on short-haul flights. The seats offer between 29–31 "of tone and 17 inches in width. 

Premium economy

The British Airways Premium Economy service is called World Traveler Plus and is only available for medium-haul and long-haul flights.

Passengers will receive a quilt and cushion and can enjoy flight entertainment with a selection of movies and movies. Passengers can enjoy the same great menu found in Economy Class but with drinks and non-alcoholic cocktails added to the Premium Economy bar menu.

What are Premium Economy seats?

Each passenger receives a welcome kit that uses materials created from recycled plastic bottles. The kits include eyeshade, socks, pencil, toothbrush, toothpaste and lip balm from Scaramouche and Fandango.

The service offers to the passengers’ greater reclination on the seats, personal seating in the USB sockets and greater entertainment on flight screen.

Approximately 18.5 inches British Airways Premium Economy are wide and recline for a 38-inch tone.
